DERBY
REGENCY ENGLISH PORCELAIN LARGE PAINTED FLORAL SPRAY PATTERN
PLATE BY JOHN KEYS
C.1815-20
"An
interesting and attractive hand painted Robert Bloor & Co.
Derby porcelain plate with gilt edge circa 1815-20. It is
brilliantly painted with a stunning central floral group and four
subsidiary colourful floral
sprays. A simply fabulous example of a rare Derby plate for your BEST
china cabinet display. This is the work of Derby artist John Keys a
talented painter who only worked at Derby for a short time and sadly
died young at the age of 27." Antiques Expert
