CLASSIC WHITEFRIARS GLASS RIBBON-TRAILED AND WAVE-RIBBED RUBY VASE DESIGNED BY BARNABY POWELL C. 1938-64

"An attractive vintage Whitefriars ruby glass vase designed in 1938 by Barnaby Powell with a pattern known as ribbon-trailed and wave-ribbed. Ruby was the most popular colour in these stylish and eye catching vases. They were made between 1938 and 1964. This vase is a fabulous piece of ornament and design." Antiques Expert Hamilton Bear.
Dimensions: height 180 mm max. width 140 mm max.
Marks: none as is usual but note the pontil mark.
Condition: A great display example in good overall condition commensurate with age and use with no significant defects in our opinion. There is typical scuffing to the base and a few minor spots of scratching as usually found. There are no cracks or chips to the glass.
