ROYAL CROWN DERBY ARTIST ALBERT GREGORY DECORATED MINTON PORCELAIN SEVRES ROSE POMPADOUR STYLE BOWL C.1916
"A fine hand painted Minton large punch or rose bowl by Royal Crown Derby artist Albert Gregory. Albert Gregory signed cabinet pieces are among the very best and this one contains as many examples of Gregory roses, in the garland style, as are likely to be encountered on a single piece. A wonderful example of finest porcelain china decorated by one of the greatest ever ceramic artists. The whole is beautifully balanced against the Sevres Rose pompadour pink ground and enhanced by delicate swags of raised gilding. One for the connoisseur and only the best and most discerning collectors of best English porcelain and antiques!" Antiques Expert Hamilton Bear.
