ART DECO STAFFORDSHIRE CORONET WARE CLASSIC GALLEON PATTERN HAND COLOURED DISPLAY PLATE C.1933-1938

"A fascinating Coronet Ware hand coloured art deco wall plate made by Parrott and Co. at the Albert Street Pottery, Burslem Staffordshire. A classic English art deco ceramic Galleon pattern design, this example is skillfully decorated in bright vibrant colours on a great tab handled dish with unusual complementary tab style edge shape. Beautiful classic art deco style... ideal for that pretty deco dresser space or display niche. It dates from the 1930s Clarice Cliff period of Staffordshire Art Deco production."
