STAFFORDSHIRE ART DECO TANGO PATTERN CORONET WARE SUGAR BOWL BY PARROTT & CO. C.1930-35
"A pretty Coronet Ware art deco open sugar with silver plated rim and great art deco shape for that pretty deco dresser space or display niche. Made by Parrott & Co. this is a wonderful 1930s Staffordshire art deco pottery piece: desirable both in terms of art deco collecting and display. It dates from the Clarice Cliff period of Staffordshire Art Deco production. The pattern name "Tango" - with a combination tangerine orange and black enamed border pattern - was popular among a number of Staffordshire potters including Royal Doulton." Marks: printed mark as illustrated
Condition: Excellent condition for display with good fresh looking decoration with no fading. No significant defects, in terms of: cracks, chips or restoration. Minot traces of scratching/scuffing wear to silver plated rim.
