BELLEEK PORCELAIN SECOND BLACK MARK SCROLL PATTERN BREAD PLATE C.1891-1926
"A lovely Irish Belleek Scroll pattern bread plate. A beautiful piece of Irish china from the classic hard to find Belleek Scroll pattern teaware range. Scroll patterns were only produced in limited quantities during the 2nd Black Mark period. This bread plate, with the delightful green graduated tint to the edge, is an "A" list rarity and the only piece of its type we have ever held... The minimalist abstract relief pattern is a real feature: it scrolls seamlessly across the face of the china and throws up wonderful abstract pattern variants as lighting and viewpoint are changed. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to add this Belleek gem to your collection!" Antiques Expert Hamilton Bear

Dimensions: width 260 mm max.
Mark: Second Black Mark 1891-26 as illustrated.
Condition: This item is in excellent display condition. There is a shallow surface flake chip to one of the scalloped rim edges and minor spots of rubbing to gilded rim edge through use in places. These do not detract from the fine aesthetic qualities and visual impact and enjoyment of the piece in our view.
